A note on the weather in February: During the day, Tepoztlán can go be as hot as 81°F / 27°C, but once the sun goes down, temperatures can drop to 52°F / 11°C. We recommend bringing sunglasses/sunscreen for the day, and a jacket/shawl for the evening.
Attire: Colorful Indian or Indian-inspired clothes.
LADIES
We recommend wearing a lehenga. It's a crop top with a long puffy skirt. Any style or bright colour works - there is a huge range! You can even use a crop top you already have and match it with a skirt.
If you want a saree, we recommend the pre-tied versions! If you prefer a dress, you can wear an anarkali. If you prefer pants, you can wear a kurta set or a sharara.
Shoes: We will walk around grassy areas
GENTS
You can wear Kurta jacket set, sherwanis, or Indo-western styles.
Another option is a Dhoti (draped around the legs) or Lungi/Veshti (wrapped around the waist like a towel) + shirt. For the dhoti/lungi/veshti we recommend the pre-tied versions. We will bring some spare lungis from India as well!
